Avery and Caroline-6 weeks old

Avery has caught up to her sister's weight! At her one month checkup, she weighed the exact same as Caroline. They both weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. Braxton and I think she has surpassed Caroline in the weight category now. It will be interesting to see when we go back in two weeks! Avery's little face is starting to get round and chubby. It is so cute! She loves to make noise. She grunts so loud when she stretches and likes to grunt in general, usually for no reason. Caroline will often mimic the sounds that Avery makes! Sometimes, it seems like they are "communicating" with each other somehow. They love to be right up next to each other. During the day, I lay them next to each other in the bassinet. They try to kiss each other, hold hands, and snuggle with each other. It is absolutely the cutest thing I have ever seen! It is hard for me to take my eyes off of them when they are like this. I have taken so many pictures of this scenario. It is so sweet for me as their mother to see how much they love each other's company. I hope this never changes! You can tell that they have a very special bond already and it will be fun to watch how it continues to develop. They both love to be held which is sometimes challenging during the day when I am home alone with them. At night, the girls are waking up every 2 and half to three hours to eat. Sweet Braxton gets up with me every time to help feed one of the girls. He has done this for six weeks now and has never complained about it once. He is the best daddy! Our girls are very blessed to have him as their daddy.
